Career Camps

The Career Camp program offers students a chance to join camps during school breaks like Spring, Summer, and Winter. These camps teach important job skills such as Work Readiness Training, Self-Advocacy, Job Exploration, and Postsecondary Educational Counseling. Students will learn how to get and keep jobs in areas like hospitality (hosting, waitressing, cooking) and retail (stocking, bagging, cashiering). The camps also include guest speakers and emphasize independence and self-reliance.

At the end of the camp, students will receive a cover letter, resume, and certificate of completion to help them as they move forward with their career goals.

Schedule

Career Camps incorporate various training topics, with sessions held both virtually and in-person. Students will participate in work-based learning experiences and work readiness training. The program may be conducted in 20 or 50-hour sessions, and all students will be compensated upon completion of the camp session.
