Our Services
We help young people (14-21) with special needs find great jobs! We teach them important skills like talking to bosses and coworkers, working hard and being on time, and learning new things and solving problems. We also help them find jobs they'll love, get training and support, and land great jobs and keep them. Let's work together to reach your full potential!
Enrollment
To get started, you need to sign up with Vocational Rehabilitation. Creative Action can help by filling out and sending your form online. Once we get it, we’ll start the process and let you know when it’s time to meet with us!
Decision
Your situation will be carefully reviewed to decide if you qualify for help since everyone is different. This can take some time, so it’s important to talk to your VR counselor while they decide. Sending in the needed forms quickly can help speed up the process!
Plan of Action
Your VR counselor will help you create a personal job plan. This plan will include your job goal, the services you’ll get, and how you’ll get ready to start working.
Employment
If you choose Creative Action as your service provider, your VR counselor will send us a referral. Once we get it, we’ll contact you to set up an intake meeting, either in person or online. During the meeting, you can talk with your Creative Action counselor about your job goals and plan the next steps together.
